Summary

The American Rescue Plan has lapsed for tax year 2022. As a result, the child tax credit, child & dependent care tax credit and the EITC will revert back to the benefits and income guidelines available prior to the Plan.

However, families who did not file a 2021 federal income tax return may still do so here https://www.irs.gov/filing/free-file-do-your-federal-taxes-for-free.
